How do you find the right app to help you with social media? We made a list with our most frequently used apps, have fun testing them out!
App 1: Thomas – Snapseed
Snapseed is the ideal app for small and quick adaptations of a picture and therefore the favorite app of Thomas. “The app has easy and useful functions to make every picture look even better.” For example, you can apply “looks”, which you can compare with filters on Instagram. If you prefer to adjust the picture manually, you can use the tools menu. This allows you to adjust brightness, contrast, atmosphere, … Thomas’ favorite feature is the ‘selective’ tool with which you can fine-tune a photo in order to correct minor mistakes. Then all you have to do is crop your photo and you’re done!

App 2: Rani – Huiji Cam
This cool app transforms your smartphone pictures in analogue images, so it seems that they are taken with a disposable camera. “The fun part about the app is that each picture has a vintage look like it’s taken in 1989 instead of 2019.” Another fun thing about the app is that no picture ever looks the same, just as with a disposable camera. However, if you always and continuously use the app, all your pictures will perfectly fit together. This way you only need one app for the most beautiful and unique pictures.

App 3: Sarah – SquareFit (iOS only)
Did you know it’s best to use square video’s on social media? Why? Simply because a square video takes more space on a smartphone screen, and thus it attracts more attention than a horizontal video. But what do you do if your phone can not film in a square format? Cropping is the answer! “Since I use SquareFit, I can adapt a video format in no time. I couldn’t miss the app anymore!”, thus Sarah.

App 4: Michèle – FilmoraGo
“With FilmoraGo I found the perfect app to adapt video’s on the go!”. This app is easy to use so everybody can work with it right away. The basic features help you to create short video’s. In the main menu, you can choose a theme, music or add transitions. You can even add subtitles, voice-overs and filters to transform your basic video into a professional one. Not a pro in the professional editing of a video, in that case is FilmoraGo the ideal tool to create amazing movies in no time!

App 5: Kel – Canva for mobile
Are you often jealous about how great someone else’s Instagram Story looks like or how creative their Facebook visuals are? Thanks to the Canva Mobile app Kel found the perfect solution for you! The nice part about Canva are the templates which are often free to use and adapt! So you can either create a design from scratch or personalize a template. Or as Kel describes it: “With the Canva Mobile app you can create very nice visuals wherever or whenever you want, without having to be a creative talent!” Is your design completely ready? Then you can easily save it, share it on social media or download it. Worth a try! ?

App 6: Christopher – Hashto
Hashto is an app to find the best-fitted hashtags possible. “With Hashto you can see popular tags, look for inspiration and even upload a picture to ask for suggestions”, thus Christopher. When you found some fitted #’s, you can even select them and look at a short analysis to see how many times the tag has been used. By using the app you can make sure you use hashtags which are not over-used, so your post doesn’t disappear in the mass. A perfect solution to finding original and qualitative hashtags!

App 7: Donna – Wunderlist
“For my job as a project manager, I often work on several projects at the same time.” says Donna. “Keeping an overview of all different tasks can be a real challenge. However since I discovered Wunderlist, I can instantly create shortlists of what I must remember to do.” The Wunderlist app allows you to create lists for your priorities and write down to-do’s to make sure you do not forget to do something. Unless you forget to write in down in your list, of course ? The most useful part about the app, according to Donna, is that you have a place to quickly write down all your creative ideas for a nice socia media post.

App 8: Dieter – Facebook Ads Manager
Always being able to check your advertising campaigns, wherever you are? “That is possible with the Facebook Ads Manager app”. According to Dieter, it’s very easy to quickly check your campaigns and approve or adjust where needed. In just one ‘click’ you can check upon results and even stop or start a campaign. The nice part is that you can enable notifications on your phone, according to Dieter. “By using the app I’m always up to date about how well or bad an ad is running”.
